Tomatoes in January

Okay, no laughing, but here is 80% of the total crop from my valiant little tomato plant. I know, it's pretty pathetic looking, but considering we keep our house pretty cold and it must depend on the sun coming in that big window, it's done very well. It was comforting to watch them grow while we had a foot of snow on the ground!

Hi Joyce and welcome back my dear! Glad you had fun camping in the Fall! A peaceful time of the year. Cute little tomatoes! I think all the plants are soooo confused! I sure am! Hugs, Maryjane

Hi Joyce,

I've missed you! Your tomato plant is doing so much better at producing than the two winter varities hubby planted. One plant has nothing but sickly looking leaves while the other has three itty bitty ones and a medium size one that is hiding under a big leaf. The daffodils down the street from my daughter's are starting to come up and the poor trees don't have a clue if they should flower or shed their leaves.

Your pictures from Kern are awesome and so peaceful.

Hugs,

Sue
